Work in Progress Wednesday: A Peek inside the WonderStrange Arts Work Rooms (10/19)

After working diligently all week, Ann has finished altering the bird house she previewed last week.   Here’s how the house looked before:

With the Halloween candy house finished, Ann has apparently skipped the candy, kicked the turkey, and moved right on to Christmas.   Okay, she hasn’t pulled out the Santa hat quite yet, but she is crocheting prototypes for a set of Misfit Toy ornaments:

Between educating the artists of tomorrow by day and attending to her commissions at night, SuperCindy can hardly keep up with the demand for her Halloween art.  Of all the cards she’s made, only this complete set and these two cards are still available – and also on sale, if you have the code!   Cindy has not lost that Halloween feelin’, though.  Even now, she is hard at work on this awesome canvas, which is going to evolve into something fabulous for the season:

This week, Nanner  is obviously up to something wonderful, because she sent in this picture:

Sure, that looks like a baby head on a platter, but Nanner assures us it’s just the start of an assemblage art piece inspired by Ann’s class, thanks to which, that baby head is going to become a phrenology head.  Go Nanner!

Sarah is finalizing the first module of her Day of the Dead (DOTD) class while also juggling crochet commissions, jewelry, canvases, a toddler, a tween, a teenager, and (rumor has it) some fire-breathing elephants.  As it turns out, however, the elephants are camera shy, so Sarah sent us a shot of her latest Zombie Bunny Slippers commission, along with the canvas that she’s creating as the prize for this month’s wonderstrange contest.
