    • Free crochet patterns  Frankenstein’s Monster!  Rawr! This pattern produces an adorably frightening little Frankenstein monster that you can make with medium or bulky yarn.  The monster has lots of customizable features, from his too-short sleeves to the scars on his face. This is an intermediate pattern, requiring approximately 2 dozen color changes in the head – but don’t let that scare you!  According to my tester, it was “totally worth it!” You can download the PDF right here:  Frankenstein Pattern from wonderstrange     Eye Heart Potholders This pattern uses t-shirt yarn, tutorial right here if you need it!  You could also use worsted-weight yarn and make ornaments or thread/floss to make earrings should you so desire! This pattern assumes you know how to work in joined rounds and how to do color changes! Click here to download the PDF:  Eye Heart Potholders

50 Canvases Redux – Number 33, The Water Bearer

I swear I will conquer this project if it kills me.  Hopefully it won’t kill me.  Also, hopefully I won’t come back as a zombie and destroy my entire family after infecting the entire town, leading to a global catastrophe of epic proportions.  Maybe Brad Pitt will play my husband Read more…

Greetings!! This week the challenge is to paint/draw/sculpt/whatever your favorite character in your own style.  Ish.  I did Jack and Sally: I don’t know how much of this is my own style or just my typical “channeling Tim Burton” thing, but whatever. Have some closeups! A video will be here Read more…
