- Free crochet patterns Frankenstein’s Monster! Rawr! This pattern produces an adorably frightening little Frankenstein monster that you can make with medium or bulky yarn. The monster has lots of customizable features, from his too-short sleeves to the scars on his face. This is an intermediate pattern, requiring approximately 2 dozen color changes in the head – but don’t let that scare you! You could also use worsted-weight yarn and make ornaments or thread/floss to make earrings should you so desire! When last we saw this project, it looked like this:

In the interim, I made Wizard of Oz-inspired labels on Strathmore drawing paper using colored pencils, because colored pencils are the very things I want to store here. To attach the labels, I applied a coat of gel medium to the back of each label, and then to its designated can.

Dang, how did I miss this one? This Wizard of Oz paintings are so hilarious and expressive. All of the faces are SUPER GREAT! Excellent project!
